Where to fish in any pond
If you ever are faced fishing a pond, such as the one pictured below, It is important to know how and where to fish effectively. In a pond, such as the one below there are many spots where you could catch fish. In the summer you could target the algae and duckweed and crawl a frog over it. Or in early summer you can flip a jig. In the smmer, in ponds like this that are not very deep I would cast to corners where there is structure, such as small trees with limbs hanging over the water. In the syummer, bluegill also are hiding in holes in the algae and sometimes travel together in schools. I have seen in ponds patches where bluegill are nesting and I have seen bass chase bluegill out of their nests. When fishing a pond like this, with what ever rod you are using and try to cast to the other side of the pond and retrieve your lure steadily. In the spring you can expect bass to be spawning around the edges of the pond, and in late June and July the bass will be feasting on bedding bluegill
